Background: At Johnstone Supply, research and development efforts focus on scaling digital operations to support a growing business. When I joined, there were three store groups operating under the system. Two additional groups were later onboarded, expanding the scope to five total groups with unique needs, product catalogs, and customer bases. To understand these differences and identify opportunities, I conducted on-site research at physical store locations, observing workflows and customer interactions to better align digital tools with real-world operations. This growth created the challenge of maintaining consistency across platforms while still allowing for tailored merchandising and content strategies.
Goal: The goal has been to refine workflows and digital tools to handle increased complexity while reinforcing brand trust. By ensuring accurate product data, streamlining CMS processes, and using analytics to guide merchandising, the objective is to deliver a consistent, reliable experience that strengthens customer confidence and supports both wholesale and retail growth.

At Johnstone Supply, I manage and support digital initiatives across five store groups, ensuring consistency and accuracy as the business continues to scale. I lead e-commerce operations, CMS content management, and web development projects to create responsive and reliable online experiences for both wholesale and retail customers. My work involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and fulfillment teams to streamline product data flows, improve merchandising strategies, and maintain seamless order processing.
